Terms of Reference

  • Provides direction for SAP program developer to create adjustment based on GVL practices and relevant Liberian law and regulations, including:
    • SAP training
    • SAP Support
    • NASSCORP reporting SAP implementation
    • SAP Weighbridge system for manufacturing mill
    • New GL Implementation
    • MRP Sparepart
    • Preventive Maintenance 03
    • Budget vs Actual report in coordination with Finance
  • Support and coach end-users on new software and network system implementation, including SAP ERP and other operations-critical software and carry out in-house system
  • Organize and perform skills and knowledge transfer to build Liberian cadre of SAP support in accordance with the company development plan
  • Replaced satellite based communication infrastructure with ETA Cell implementation throughout Sinoe and Grand Kru County
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles and policies 

Qualifications and Requirements

A. Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in IT, Electronic Engineering or related field desirable

B. Professional, Proven Work Experience

  • Minimum of ten (10) years' working experience in the ICT environment preferably middle management level and above
  • 10 years experience in SAP system in the Oil Palm industry
  • Successful track record of designing, developing, implementing and managing new and upgrade SAP based application, such as:
    • Complete SAP system at Farm, Mill, Services & Projects
    • Implementation of SAP Checkroll
    • Implementation of SAP MRP and PM03 at Mill
    • Implementation of Mobile Finger Print and BIO-V integration with SAP
  • Working knowledge and experience with VSAT and ETA Cell terminal  installation, maintenance and support
  • Experience in training a new, growing IT team

C. Skills

  • SAP development process including AS IS - TO BE analysis, Configuration, Business Data Warehouse, and Basis
  • SAP modules including FICO, MM, PM, Checkroll, HR, BW, SBS
