Terms of Reference

  • Take responsibility of assigned Finance & Control activities in a defined scope of GVL operations in a farm or a section of the F&C function, with posting to Sinoe or Grand Kru
  • Perform day-to-day financial, accounting, controls and related administrative activities of of the assigned scope
  • Implement GVL financial, accounting and control practices
  • Control correctness of data inputs, outputs and handling by self and assigned team
  • Supervise, guide and control assigned staff 

Qualifications and Requirements

A. Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Associate (AA) degree or Diploma in accounting
  • BBA & Membership with accredited accounting body would be added advantage 

B. Professional, Proven Work Experience

  • 3-5 years' work experience in a business corporation
  • 1-3 years' experience in the Oil Palm industry
  • 2 years experience in an accounting or audit role

C. Skills

  • High numeracy
  • Good written (emails & letters) and verbal communications
  • Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook
  • Financial record keeping and analysis in an Excel spreadsheet, able to write and utilize basic formulas
  • Experience with accounting software an advantage 

D. Traits

  • Proactive, independent self starter, team player, loyal, honest, helpful, good character

E. Note

  • An intermediary training & experience building position can be considered by the company for high potential applicants who may not meet all qualifications or requirements initially
