GVL Opens More Health Posts As More Medical and Logistics Staff Hired

Sinoe County – Golden Veroleum Liberia (GVL) has employed five new medical staff among seven (7) new recruits to strengthen its medical and logistics departments in Sinoe County.

The seven (7) employees have been placed in key positions at the company’s estates in Tarjuowon North, South and Butaw.

Registered Nurse, Goretti Sayeh Smith, will take charge of the new clinic in Tarjuowon North estate. The two health posts opened on September 15, 2018.

Luther G. Noah joins as Registrar and Yassah Tiah as Nurse Aide at the Tarjuowon clinic. While Mark Gbior and Jarboe J. Jueswen will take up the positions of Nurse Aide and Registrar respectively in Tarjuowon South.

Sethe Sarplah Osae has been appointed Regional Chef to surpervise all the cooks and domestic cleaners across the company’s properties in Sinoe. Dominic Bobby Jenn has been appointed Logistics and Procurement Officer.

GVL is the largest employer in south east Liberia. The company has recently hired 100 field workers at its Butaw farm site to strengthen the workforce as the company is now harvesting fresh fruit bunches (FFBs). Seven additional truck drivers have also been hired to transport the FFB to the mill in Tarjuowon.

To date, GVL has employed more than 4,000 Liberians with 200 in managerial positions.
