Golden Veroleum Liberia (GVL) welcomes the immediate removal of a travel ban imposed on the company’s executives last December.
On January 17, 2019, Associate Justice Sie-A-Nyene G. Youh, presiding in Chambers, at the Temple of Justice ordered the immediate uplift of the imposed travel ban on GVL executives.
The travel ban has been imposed as a result of on-going actions of debt case involving GVL and Tropical Logistics Liberia, Inc.
According to a writ of Certiorari, Justice Sie-A-Nyene G. Youh instructed the Sheriff of the Supreme Court of Liberia to notify His Honor Chan-Chan Paegar, Associate Judge of the Commercial Court of Liberia and Tropical Logistics Represented by its General Manager, Respondents, in the entitled cause of action to appear before the Associate Justice in Chambers on January 25, 2019.
“You are commanded”, the writ continues, “to instruct to the Respondent Judge to lift the writ of Ne Exeat Republica”.
